Successful Mid-Term Meeting in Osijek Advances the Erasmus+ GYM4ALL Project

Recently, the Erasmus+ project dedicated to gymnastics for children with disabilities successfully held its mid-term meeting in Osijek, Croatia. The event coincided with the DOBRO World Cup, imbuing the event with an additional layer of excitement and energy.

The meeting brought together partners from North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Croatia, fostering cross-border collaboration and communication. It was an opportunity for all partners to come together, reflect on progress thus far, and plan for the future stages of the project.

During the first part of the meeting, the project handbook was presented to the partners. The handbook, which is focused on delivering gymnastics training to children with disabilities, was extensively discussed. Partners had the chance to exchange ideas, propose enhancements, and fine-tune the handbook based on their experiences and expertise.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to planning the implementation phase of the project. This stage will involve conducting gymnastics trainings based on the guidelines and recommendations outlined in the project handbook. Partners discussed organizational aspects, responsibilities, and the necessary resources to ensure a successful execution of the trainings.

After a productive day of meetings, the partners were able to unwind and strengthen their connections over a friendly dinner. This informal gathering provided a relaxed atmosphere for further discussions, exchange of ideas, and networking.

The following day offered an enriching experience as the partners attended workshops and education sessions held by the Croatian Gymnastics Federation. This presented an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of gymnastics. In addition, they had the chance to witness the exhilarating final of the DOBRO World Cup. The combination of professional development and the excitement of world-class gymnastics served to inspire the partners as they move forward with their important work.

The mid-term meeting was a testament to the project’s progress and the partners’ commitment to enhancing the lives of children with disabilities through gymnastics. As we move into the implementation phase, we look forward to seeing the impact of our work in the communities we serve.
